In 2023, to challenge myself, I decided to individually Illustrate each of the Disney Princesses in chronological order.
This piece is one from that series, and I have the full series uploaded to my Instagram.

I learned a lot illustrating through these pieces, and if you look closely you can see my style and use of texture and lighting evolve and change with each piece. Jasmine was one where I learned a lot about lighting and how to utilize color to convey that. The scene initially began as a daytime piece, but I decided to alter the color story into more cool purples to compliment Jasmine’s palette, and so I pivoted and re-did the background as a night scene.
