Disney’s Cinderella (1950) has always been an incredibly inspiring film to me as a creative. The wistful and vivid art style was created by one of my biggest inspirations, Mary Blair. Her vibrant use of color and inspired way of telling stories through line and shape have affected my own design aesthetic in ways I rediscover over and over again.

This piece was a tribute to the 1950 Cinderella, but the subject of the piece is Lily James’ take on the character from Disney’s 2015 Live Action film of the same name.
